Recruiting: Auburn nabs 4-star offensive lineman from LSU

The Auburn Family received a nice surprise on Thursday morning when Justin Hokanson reported that four-star offensive tackle Patrick Miller has enrolled for the spring semester. Miller is six-foot-seven and weighs in at 260 pounds. He’s out of West Palm Beach, Fla., and was an LSU commit since September.

This is a big get for Auburn, as any talented offensive lineman with good size can give a huge boost to the offense. And stealing him away from a conference rival doesn’t hurt, either. At 260 pounds, Miller’s a little thin for six-foot-seven, but Auburn’s strength and conditioning coaches should be able to pack on the weight. He’ll certainly be a valuable piece to Auburn’s offensive puzzle in the not too distant future. I think I speak for every Auburn fan when I say, “Thank you,” to The Bagman.

Here are Miller’s profile pages at Rivals, Scout, 247Sports, MaxPreps and ESPN.
