Auburn Win Total at 9, According to Bovada

If you are a betting man or woman, or simply want to know what the “experts” think about the Auburn Tigers at this point in the pre-season, Bovada has set the over/under for the Auburn win total at nine. Keep in mind that this number includes only the regular season, and that conference championship games and bowl games do not count.

As we know, pre-season predictions can be easy to make, but difficult to make correctly. Last year, most sports books had the Tigers at six wins heading into the season, and all they did was nearly double that total, going 11-1 in the regular season.

Other SEC win total lines according to Bovada, as of Tuesday August 5:

Alabama 10.5

Arkansas 4.5

Florida 7.5

Georgia 9.5

Kentucky 3.5

LSU 9

Mississippi State 7.5

Missouri 7.5

Ole Miss 7.5

South Carolina 9.5

Tennessee 5.5

Texas A&M 7

Vanderbilt 6

If I were a betting man, my predictions at this point of the process would be:

Alabama: Over 10.5

Arkansas: Over 4.5

Florida: Under 7.5

Georgia: Over 9.5

Kentucky: Over 3.5

LSU: Under 9

Miss. State: Over 7.5

Missouri: Under 7.5

Ole Miss: Over 7.5

South Carolina: Over 9.5

Tennessee: Under 5.5

Texas A&M: Push (I predict 7 wins)

Vanderbilt: Under 6

And, finally, I would take the over on the Auburn Tigers. Yes, the schedule is tough, and Auburn won a bunch of close games last year – which is not always a sign of future success – but nine wins seems like a given.

It is fair to say that most Auburn fans foresee at least nine wins for the Tigers this year, but are you willing to put your money where your mouth is? Let us know in the comments below.
