Another week of SEC football is in the books, and since the Auburn Tigers will play their seventh game Saturday, we are now officially past the halfway point of the regular season for every team in the league .

From a “good game” standpoint, last week was pretty boring. On the plus side, Alabama routed Texas A&M 59-0 and Missouri demolished Florida 42-13 in Gainesville. We might not have seen the final scores coming, but we were on the right side of the spread.

Elsewhere, including Georgia’s 45-32 win over Arkansas, Ole Miss’ 34-3 beat down of Tennessee and an impressive 41-3 LSU victory over Kentucky, we weren’t as fortunate and suffered our first sub-.500 week of the season with a 2-3 week. Overall, however, we’re still sitting pretty in our SEC football gambling picks against the spread.

Last Week ATS: 2-3

This Season ATS: 37-22-2 (60.7%)

This week, Auburn is back in action, and we’ll have our pick for the game Saturday morning. There is one non-conference matchup on the slate as Arkansas looks to get back in the win column against UAB in the early SEC Network game.

The SEC on CBS game of the week is Mississippi State, putting their No. 1 national ranking at stake for the very first time against the Kentucky Wildcats. Also in the afternoon Vanderbilt travels to Missouri. The primetime matchups include Ole Miss visiting Tiger Stadium as a favorite for the first time in a very long time, and Alabama will of course be a big road favorite at Tennessee.

Now, on to business, and to dollars and cents. How will the teams fare against the spread? As always, we use the lines from Bovada, as of 11AM CT Friday, while rankings are courtesy of the AP Top 25.
