We are just one day away from National Signing Day and the Auburn coaching staff is working hard to make sure it’s a great day. The Tigers already have 16 commitments and are hoping to rack up six to eight more by the end of Wednesday.

Here are my predictions on where Auburn’s top recruiting targets will land:

No. 1: Rashan Gary – The nation’s number one overall recruit cut Alabama and Auburn from his list on Monday and will choose between Michigan and Clemson on National Signing Day. All signs point towards the defensive lineman joining the Wolverines.

No. 2: Derrick Brown – The number nine overall prospect according to 247Sports is apparently choosing between Georgia, Auburn and Tennessee. For most of the recruiting process the Bulldogs were considered the favorite, but the Tigers came on late. Brown took an official visit to Rocky Top last weekend, which has his decision even more wide open. If you would have asked me last week I would have felt very confident about picking Auburn, but now I’m mildly confident that the defensive lineman will pick the Tigers.

No. 3: Ben Davis – The nation’s number 10 prospect and number one linebacker will be picking the Tide on Signing Day.

No. 4: Landon Dickerson – The four-star offensive lineman and 31st overall prospect is apparently down to Tennessee, Florida State and Alabama. It’s sounding like he’ll end up a Seminole.

No. 5: Nate Craig-Myers – This is where things get interesting. Nate holds the key to two possible Auburn commits on Wednesday as he is considered part of package deal with Jayvaugn Myers. The decision will come between Auburn and North Carolina for both of them. Nate will choose first tomorrow and I’m fairly confident he’ll pick the Tigers. If he doesn’t, it could be a sad day for Auburn.

No. 6: Nigel Warrior – It was nice of the nation’s 59th best recruit to consider Auburn down the stretch, but he’s going to Tennessee.

No. 7: E.J. Price – The four-star offensive line recruit will most likely pick the Bulldogs on National Signing Day.

No. 8: Ahmmon Richards – The 149th best recruit and four-star receiver is leaning towards the Miami Hurricanes.

No. 9: Prince Sammons – The Tigers have gained some ground late on the four-star lineman, but I’m not sure it will be enough as Sammons is leaning towards the Spartans heading into signing day.

No. 10: Jayvaughn Myers – Like his step-brother Nate, Jayvaughn is down to Auburn and North Carolina. Both are projected to pick the Tigers tomorrow. Auburn would gladly accept the three-star cornerback.

No. 11: Stephen Davis Jr. – The three-star athlete and Auburn legacy is choosing between the Tigers and Gamecocks. Davis had a great visit in the Plains a couple of weekends ago and the former Auburn commit is expected to pick the Tigers.

So there you have it. Maybe I’m being an optimistic Auburn supporter, but I believe the Tigers are in for a big day tomorrow.

Auburn has a really good chance of landing commits from Brown, Nate, Jayvaughn and Davis Jr., which would most likely make this a top 10 class. And who knows, maybe the coaching staff will pull of a couple of surprises on National Signing Day.
