12. Arkansas

Pre-Season Ranking: 12

Last Week: Lost to Auburn 45-21

The Good: On at least three drives, the Arkansas offense looked like a completely different unit than they did in 2013. The Razorbacks tied Auburn 21-21 in the second quarter with an effective mix of rushing and play-action passing. Brandon Allen proved to be an effective quarterback and completed 18 of 31 passes for 175 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.

The Bad: The Arkansas offense was shut out in the second half against the Tigers, and was even outscored by the Auburn defense. Robenson Therezie hit Brandon Allen on a blitz, and the ball flew into the arms of Jermaine Whitehead. The senior safety raced 33 yards for a touchdown and it was the turning point of the game. Also bad? Arkansas allowed 595 yards of total offense.

The Ugly: With a trio of talented running backs and a solid offensive line, the Razorbacks somehow managed to run for only two yards in the second half against Auburn.
