Last Week’s Result: Beat Nicholls State 73-7

Yes, Arkansas played a Nicholls State team that is not even very good on the FCS level, but the Razorbacks were impressive Saturday. Arkansas led 35-0 in the first quarter and 56-0 at halftime to break a ten-game losing streak.

Offensively, the Hogs rolled up 684 yards of total offense with nearly 500 of it coming on the ground. The defense was just as solid and held Nicholls to 242 yards despite being on the field most of the day. The performance, coupled with Texas Tech’s less than impressive first two games, should give Hog fans hope that Arkansas can win next week.
