Last Week’s Result: Beat Toledo 49-24

Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel took his current team to his old stomping grounds last week and earned a solid 49-24 victory over the Toledo Rockets. The Tigers were just a four-point favorite in the game prior to kickoff, but they played like a much bigger favorite early.

By halftime, Mizzou had staked a 28-7 lead, and pushed it to 35-7 early in the fourth quarter. Maty Mauk threw for 352 yards and had five touchdown passes to four different receivers. He also ran for a touchdown.

In all, Mizzou had 502 yards of total offense. The defense looked shaky at times, and allowed 410 yards to the MAC squad, but it was an overall good performance for the Tigers.
