  • After allowing 150 rushing yards in the first half of the first game against Arkansas, Auburn has allowed opponents 27 points and 108 rushing yards in the last 10 quarters.
  • Gus Malzahn’s first game at Auburn as offensive coordinator came against Louisiana Tech in 2009. The Tigers gained 556 yards of offense (255 pass, 301 rush) and outscored the Bulldogs 24-3 in the second half en route to a 37-13 season-opening win. Auburn would go on to finish 8-5 and win the Outback Bowl.
