There are still a few non-conference games to be played, including this weekend’s Homecoming matchup between the Auburn Tigers and Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at Jordan-Hare Stadium, but we finally have nearly a full slate of games with SEC Championship implications.

More from Auburn Football

As we do every Friday at Fly War Eagle, we pick the rest of the league’s games, but save Auburn for Saturday morning.

Last week, our SEC picks against the spread were again successful, and if we had to make the picks again, it would be very difficult to change a thing. The 5-3 winning record has pushed our season standing to 24-11-2 ATS.

This week, we’ve got seven games total. Tennessee will be in action Saturday between the hedges against the Georgia Bulldogs, while Vanderbilt and Kentucky will square off to determine which is most likely to finish the season last place in the SEC East. Arkansas travels to Texas for a neutral site game against Texas A&M and Missouri will be in the other Columbia to square off against South Carolina.

In non-conference action, LSU and Auburn should have easy tune-ups with New Mexico State and Louisiana Tech before playing one another next Saturday, and Ole Miss should handle Memphis at home before their big game against the Tide.

Three schools are idle. Alabama and Mississippi State will be off in preparations for major matchups with Ole Miss and Texas A&M, respectively, next week, while the Florida Gators will have an extra seven days to prepare for a trip to Knoxville.

But how will the teams fare against the spread?

Last Week: 5-3

This Season: 24-11-2
