This has been the toughest selection to make this week. Georgia looked great on both sides of the ball last Saturday in a 66-0 win over Troy, but the Trojans may be one of the worst FBS teams in the nation this season, so it’s hard to take much from the result. At the very least, it should have allowed the Bulldogs to wash at least some of the sour taste from their mouths that came with the loss to South Carolina September 13.

Tennessee, on the other hand, has not been on the field since their loss to Oklahoma. While beating the Sooners was a long shot, you’d still like to get back on the field quickly following a loss. Instead, the Vols have been prepping for a trip to Athens for two weeks. Will that extra practice come in handy?
The Vols have been strong on defense through the first three games of the season, and they will be tested against one of the best offenses in all of college football. The Dawgs have far too many weapons for Tennessee to stop them, and the Vols won’t be able to keep up in a shootout. Georgia wins, but can they cover?
In all honesty, I don’t like this game, and don’t feel very good about the pick one way or the other. But, if I were forced to, I would take the favorite.
