Until the news of Todd Gurley’s suspension was announced Thursday evening, the Georgia Bulldogs were considered to be a three-point favorite on the road in Columbia.

More from Auburn Football

The Dawgs have bitten me in each of the last two weeks, but once again, I liked the look of a line that favored UGA by a field goal. However, as of early this morning, the game had been taken off the board and is yet to return.

It’s hard to say if and when you might be able to make a pick on this game, so it will be difficult to give full insight on how to bet it. But, one piece of advice would be to carefully consider how much money is likely to pour in on Missouri if and when a new line is posted.

Pure speculation here, but Missouri is likely to be favored now. Most that follow college football know how good Gurley is, and what he has meant to Georgia’s success this season. With a shaky Georgia defense and a Bulldogs quarterback that has shared snaps with backups early in the last two games, it might be tempting to take the Tigers. However, keep in mind there is far more overall talent on the Georgia roster.

Because there is currently no line, we won’t make an official pick, and because of the circumstances you should stay away from this game. However, you are likely to get Georgia at a very good price if you want it. If Mizzou is favored, take Georgia. And honestly, even without Gurley, I like the Dawgs to win.
