#3 Ole Miss at #14 Texas A&M (-2), 8:00PM CT, ESPN
It was the biggest game ever in Oxford, Mississippi, and the fans are still celebrating a monumental victory over Alabama. Now, with a road trip to College Station the very next week, the script is flipped and Ole Miss is the team carrying a lofty ranking into enemy territory.

However, despite the big win over the Tide and Texas A&M’s loss last week in Starkville, it’s the Aggies that are favored to win this week. A&M has the home field advantage, which is certainly important, and they’ve got one of the best offenses in the nation. But take a closer look at their schedule.
The Aggies made a huge splash in Week 1 with a big win over South Carolina. But is that win nearly as impressive today as it was then given the Gamecocks’ struggles? Then, the Aggies blasted a trio of terrible Texas non-conference opponents and had to rally to beat Arkansas (the sixth or seventh best team in the division) in overtime before getting beaten like a drum by Mississippi State. Simply, the Aggies might not be as good as we thought.
Ole Miss, on the other hand, has a far better defense than A&M, and an offense that isn’t far behind. Despite the trap-like scenarios presented by this matchup, I like the Rebels in the outright upset on the road.
