Things were looking so good for Arkansas a few short weeks ago. After stumbling in the second half against Auburn in Week 1, the Razorbacks were dominant in three straight non-conference wins. Of course, then came a three-game losing streak at the hands of three top ten teams in conference play.

Head coach Bret Bielema should have no trouble picking up another non-conference victory this weekend against the UAB Blazers from Conference USA. While UAB is one of the most improved teams in the nation under first year head coach Bill Clark, with a 4-3 record and an average of 37.6 points per game this season, they will be no match for the SEC talent of the Hogs.
But, will UAB cover? Well, they covered against Mississippi State earlier this season, which makes the Blazers the only team to cover against the top ranked Bulldogs. However, since the game with MSU, UAB is just 2-3 against the spread and because of Arkansas’ performance out of SEC play this season, the Razorbacks seem to be the best bet in this one.
