LSU looked great last week against Kentucky. I’ve been very skeptical of the Tigers all season because they are such a young team, but now that we’re into the second half of the season, that youth has turned to experience. The Tigers are as talented as any team in the nation, and when they host an opponent on a Saturday night in Death Valley, they can beat anyone.

That being said, this Ole Miss team is for real. The Rebels started slow in the first half against Tennessee last week, but showed they can score in a hurry when they pounced quickly shortly before halftime. The defense was once again suffocating all night and the outcome was never in question against Tennessee.
I didn’t believe in the Tigers last week against Kentucky, but they proved me wrong. I also didn’t believe the Rebels could cover against the Vols, and was once again proven wrong. Forced to make a decision as to which team not to believe in this week, I’m betting against the home underdog.
