Prediction:
Both teams will put it all on the field in Oxford Saturday night. Both teams need this win. A loss here, while not completely title hope-killing, would be very damaging to the chances of earning a playoff bid.

These teams are really even. Auburn’s offense is really good, but the defense, though strong much of this season, still has some questions. Ole Miss’ defense is really good, but their offense is inconsistent. The game’s in Oxford, so the Rebels are the slightest of favorites if you ask Vegas.
This game could go either way. I see this being a back-and-forth, lower-scoring game. Auburn’s defense will play much better than it did a week ago, while Ole Miss will improve on their performance in Death Valley last Saturday night. Ultimately, I’m going to go with the team with more weapons, more experience and better coaching…. and that’s the Auburn Tigers.
#3 Auburn Tigers 27, #4 Ole Miss Rebels 24
SEC Predictions:
#1 Mississippi State 41, Arkansas 21 (In Fayetteville, this would be a trap game. In Starkville? I highly doubt it.)
#11 Georgia 28, Florida 21 (The Gators will fight hard for Will Muschamp, but this game will signal the end of the era.)
South Carolina 37, Tennessee 28 (The Gamecocks have no defense, but their offense is good enough to win this game.)
Kentucky 30, Missouri 10 (Mark Stoops is working wonders in Lexington so far in his tenure. They’ll get a win here.)
Texas A&M 49, UL-Monroe 14 (Regardless of who the QB is, the Aggies should easily dust the Warhawks.)
Old Dominion 38, Vanderbilt 24 (At least it’s not Temple again, right, Vandy fans?)
Other Notable Games:
#2 Florida State 36, #25 Louisville 23 (The ‘Noles are overrated, but the ACC is still theirs for the taking.)
#7 TCU 41, #20 West Virginia 31 (Trevone Boykin will emerge as a prime Heisman contender in a big road win in Morgantown.)
#9 Kansas State 31, Oklahoma State 7 (The Wildcats will continue to stuff every offense that comes their way.)
#12 Arizona 38, #22 UCLA 34 (The Bruins are a 6.5-point favorite, so maybe Vegas knows something I don’t.)
#17 Utah 24, #14 Arizona State 21 (Defense and running the ball have been the calling cards of the Utes so far. Devontae Booker is one of the nation’s most underrated running backs.)
UPSET ALERT! Stanford 23, #5 Oregon 20 (The Ducks are strong once against and the Cardinal are going through a rebuilding year. However, Stanford hit a groove against Oregon State and still have one of the most physical teams in the nation. Tough running, just enough passing and the expected great defense will give the Cardinal their 3rd straight win over Oregon, to the joy of their critics and the dismay of Marcus Mariota.)
