For the better part of a week, it looked like Georgia would have Todd Gurley in the backfield Saturday in Jacksonville, but the NCAA suspended him two more games instead. Of course, true freshman Nick Chubb has been spectacular in the last two games for the Bulldogs in Gurley’s absence and has gained 345 yards on 68 carries the last two weeks as the workhorse starter.

Georgia appears to be hitting their stride, and the Gators are heading in the opposite direction. Many see this as Gators head coach Will Muschamp’s “last stand.” Muschamp has lost three in a row against his alma mater, and a fourth straight defeat in the game once known as the “World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party” could be the final nail in his coffin.
With that said, the Gators will fight and claw to save their head coach and the team should play well. Treon Harris will start at quarterback for the first time, and the Florida offense has played well (relatively speaking) with the true freshman behind center. Expect Georgia to pull out a victory, but it should be close.
