Receivers
Four Texas A&M receivers have 34 catches or more this season, led by Malcome Kennedy’s 38. Kennedy, a senior, ranks fourth on the squad with 386 receiving yards but actually leads the team with 55 yards per game because he missed two contests. He has two TD catches in 2014 after scoring seven times among his 60 receptions last year.
From a pure talent standpoint, Ricky Seals-Jones and Speedy Noil are two of the best receivers in the SEC. Seals-Jones was one of the nation’s top recruits in 2013, but missed the majority of his true freshman season with an injury. A monster at 6-foot-5 and around 240 pounds, RSJ has 37 catches for 377 yards and three touchdowns this season, but was shut out last week against the Warhawks.

Noil is built much differently than his massive teammate, and at 5-foot-11 and 190-pounds, the true freshman from New Orleans has played very well in his first season on campus. He is second on the team with 461 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 36 catches and also carries big play capabilities in the return game.
While the three players listed above have greater name recognition, Josh Reynolds has been the best of the bunch this year for Texas A&M. The 6-foot-4, 190-pound sophomore transfer has eight touchdown catches in his first nine career games, which is a school record. Reynolds also leads the team with 533 receiving yards.
There is no shortage of receiving options for Allen to throw to. Edward Pope has 27 catches for 436 yards and four touchdowns (including an 86-yarder), Boone Niederhofer has 232 yards and two TDs on 26 receptions and Sabian Holmes leads the team with a 17.2 yards per catch average on his 11 grabs.
In all, 17 Aggies have caught passes in 2014.
