Offensive Line
Texas A&M has churned out some great offensive linemen in recent history and Cedric Ogbuehi is the next potential first round talent after Luke Joeckel and Jake Matthews earned the honor in the last two NFL Drafts. Ogbuehi entered the season as an All-American candidate and has started all nine games for the Aggies at left tackle. Saturday will be his 40th career start.
However, Ogbuehi will move to right tackle to replace Germain Ifedi, who is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season with a knee sprain. The loss of Ifedi is certainly a blow to the A&M front five. The sophomore started the first nine games of the year.

“Germain has a grade two MCL sprain,” head coach Kevin Sumlin said in his weekly press conference. “On bigger guys, that’s a problem. I wouldn’t look to see him for the remainder of the regular season. We’ll probably get him back for the bowl game.”
With Ifedi out, the Aggies had to get creative on who would play where.
“You saw us scramble a bit,” Sumlin continued. “We moved Ced (Ogbuehi) to right tackle and moved Jarvis (Harrison) out of guard to left tackle, and we went with (Garrett) Gramling and (Joe) Cheek inside there. That’s where we are. That’s no different than a lot of people this year. We’ve been very fortunate around here to play with the same five guys a bunch. Jarvis will have to play tackle and play very, very well, and he’s capable of that.”
Harrison has started the last four games at left guard and Grambling started the first five games at left guard before moving to the right side for three. He did not start against ULM. Junior Mike Matthews is the center, though senior Ben Compton has played center as well as H-back this season.
