The Florida Gators and head coach Will Muschamp earned a huge victory over the Georgia Bulldogs last week in Jacksonville. Many believed a loss would seal Muschamp’s fate in Gainesville, but his team rallied for an impressive victory that was even more dominant than the 38-20 score indicates.

Vanderbilt picked up a nice victory as well, though Old Dominion is far from a powerhouse, and redshirt freshman Johnny McCrary played the best game of any Commodores quarterback this season. Head coach Derek Mason and his team hopes the third win of the season will create enough momentum to pick up their first SEC victory in 2014.
Florida has a huge edge in overall talent, and should beat Vanderbilt easily. However, despite last week’s performance, the Gators have struggled with consistency lately. If they stick to the game plan that resulted in more than 400 yards rushing last week though, and catch a few breaks, they could play their way into the mix for the SEC East title and a spot in the SEC Championship Game.
