Texas A&M looked like a completely different team last week against Auburn than they had at any point in the month of October. After beginning the season 5-0 and reaching the No. 6 spot in the AP Top 25, then losing three straight games to Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Alabama, the Aggies looked like an overrated fraud. Things didn’t get much better following an ugly 21-16 win over UL Monroe.

  • However, new quarterback Kyle Allen played great and tossed four TDs against Auburn on the way to a huge upset win last week. The Aggies will aim to build on the momentum they created with last week’s big win with a victory over the SEC East leading Missouri Tigers.

Mizzou has used a stingy defense and quality special teams play to not only stay competitive this season in an expected down year, but to stay in the mix for an SEC Championship game slot. Despite losing 34-0 to Georgia earlier this season, the Tigers have a lead in the division race and only need to win out to make it back to Atlanta for their second straight season.

This game is a matchup of two teams that are difficult to trust. A&M beat Auburn, but looked horrible in the three games prior. Missouri leads the East, but lost to lowly Indiana. Neither has been consistent, but both have seven wins in what many believed would be rebuilding years. But, when all else fails, go with the more talented team.
