Week 13 SEC Football Picks Against the Spread

Ole Miss played Presbyterian two weeks ago and had a bye last Saturday. They should be relaxed, rested and ready to go on the road for a big SEC West matchup with Arkansas. Of course, a blowout win over a mediocre FCS team and an off week could lull the Rebels to sleep and ensure a slow start Saturday.

Arkansas, on the other hand, is very much alive and awake after beating LSU 17-0 last week to snap a 17-game losing streak in SEC football games. The Hogs didn’t just beat the Tigers, either; they dominated them. LSU had just 123 yards of total offense and Arkansas controlled the tempo of the game from the very beginning.
Arkansas proved they can win, and they are talented and still motivated enough to win again. However, the Rebels are a better football team. Ole Miss’ defense is one of the best in the nation, and senior quarterback Bo Wallace is one of the very best to come through Oxford. They should take care of business on the road before playing the most important Egg Bowl of all-time next week.
