LSU: Will this be the year Les Miles finally makes the jump to his alma mater? The Tigers went 7-5 this season with a very young roster, and the future is as bright as ever in Baton Rouge.
However, Michigan once again has an opening for a head coach, and Miles is a prime candidate. If he says no to a return to Ann Arbor, don’t expect any staff changes (unless offensive coordinator Cam Cameron takes a head coaching job or returns to the NFL).

Mississippi State: Dan Mullen has done a terrific job at Mississippi State, leading the Bulldogs to a 10-2 regular season record in 2014 in which they spent several weeks as the No. 1 ranked team in the nation.
Understandably, those accomplishments have made Mullen a hot name in coaching searches. He was considered a candidate early in the process at Florida, and has been mentioned in regards to Michigan and other openings, but has often said he has no intentions of leaving Starkville.
“I don’t plan on being a one-hit wonder,” Mullen said recently. “We want to build this program.”
At this time, it appears likely Mullen (and his coaching staff) will be back in 2015, but things could certainly change.
