Prediction:
2014 wasn’t what the Tigers wanted, but it was always a possibility with a tough schedule and key personnel losses. The offense was more two-dimensional, but a leaky defense cost the Tigers several winnable games.

However, an Outback Bowl win would make Auburn 9-4. The prospects of that sound much better than being 8-5, though Auburn has enough talent returning for this year’s record to not affect perception for the 2015 season.
I doubt Auburn’s defensive woes will be fixed so easily during the bowl practices. Wisconsin’s offense will be inspired to make up for the shutout they suffered against the Buckeyes in the biggest game of the year. I expect Wisconsin to have success against Auburn’s defense.
But in the end, Auburn’s offense will come through. Nick Marshall will account for over 300 yards of offense in his final game as an Auburn Tiger, Cameron Artis-Payne will run for over 100 yards, Sammie Coates will catch a touchdown in his last game, and a Daniel Carlson field goal with no time left will give the Tigers a thrilling win. Of course this will be a 3-point game. That’s just how Auburn does in bowl games.
