The chances that five-star defensive tackle Daylon Mack will sign with Auburn went from little to none last weekend when the Texas native cancelled his visit to the Plains and went to Austin instead.
Mack is expected to make his final decision between Texas A&M and TCU, and now the Texas Longhorns are back in the mix. All three programs are expected to have in-home visits this week.
While the Tigers were seen as a very long shot even when he agreed to visit, the change of plans pretty much ended any hopes Gus Malzahn, Will Muschamp and company had of landing one of the nation’s biggest recruits. Instead, expect him to sign with the Aggies and play against Auburn three or four years in a row.
