With less than 48 hours to National Signing Day, there are still many directions the 2015 Auburn recruiting class can take.

Gus Malzahn and his coaching staff have created a great deal of momentum following the hirings of a recruiting All-Star defensive coaching staff in defensive coordinator Will Muschamp and secondary coach Travaris Robinson from Florida and Lance Thompson from Alabama.

That collection of coaching and recruiting talent has put the Tigers squarely in the mix for some of the most sought-after high school prospects in the nation, including five-star defensive linemen Byron Cowart, Terry Beckner, Jr. and CeCe Jefferson.

Of course, with Malzahn’s reputation as an offensive genius, Auburn has a chance to bring in some top-notch offensive playmakers as well, and possibly the nation’s highest ranked offensive lineman Martez Ivey.

With 21 commitments leaving seven scholarship slots to be filled, there is a Dream Team scenario that could include those spots being filled with as many as six players that have a five-star rating from at least one recruiting service. But, there’s a chance that Auburn could miss out on every single one of them.

What’s the best and worst case scenario for the Tigers?
