In 1920, Moon Ducote became the first former Auburn football player to play professional football when he started one game for the Cleveland Tigers of the APFA. Since, the Tigers have churned out 245 NFL Draft picks and 66 others that played at least one games in the league as an undrafted free agent.

Fifteen players have combined to make 30 appearances on the All Pro team, 27 have made the Pro Bowl and 23 have appeared in at least one Super Bowl.

Kicker Al Del Greco holds the record for most career NFL games by a former Auburn Tiger with 248, though Tony Richardson, Takeo Spikes, Kevin Greene, Ed West and Chris Gray all played more than 200 games on Sundays after playing Saturdays on the Plains.

Twenty-five former Auburn football players played in the NFL last season – a group that included five players that had been selected to at least one Pro Bowl.

In the 2014 NFL Draft, two Tigers – Greg Robinson and Dee Ford – were selected in the first round. Running back Tre Mason and fullback Jay Prosch were drafted in the third and sixth rounds, respectively, and all four players made an impact as rookies, as did undrafted free agent Chris Davis.

Of course it was another undrafted free agent, kicker Cody Parkey, which earned a spot in the Pro Bowl and set an NFL rookie scoring record and became the single-season scoring record holder for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Will one of those rookies eventually break into the exclusive club of the Top 25 Auburn Tigers in NFL History? How about one of the 22 Tigers participated in Pro Day Tuesday in preparation for the 2015 NFL Draft? Let’s see what they would have to do to make the list.
