HEISMAN PREDICTION

And the winner of the 2015 Heisman Trophy is….

Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson

If Watson can stay healthy and keep the Tigers in the playoff race, he’ll become one of the leaders of the Heisman race. His 2014 season was limited because of injuries, but in his time under center, he accounted for 19 scores and only two turnovers. He’s a dynamic athlete, but he’s also a fantastic passer that makes smart decisions. He’ll have some stages to shine (at Louisville on a Thursday night; home games against Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, and Florida State; at South Carolina to end the season; potentially the ACC Championship Game).

Other Heisman contenders:

2. Ezekiel Elliot, RB, Ohio State

3. Seth Russell, QB, Baylor

4. Jeremy Johnson, QB, Auburn

5. Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama

6. Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia

7. Cardale Jones/J.T. Barrett, QB, Ohio State

8. Connor Cook, QB, Michigan State

9. Royce Freeman, RB, Oregon

10. Malik Zaire, QB, Notre Dame

11. Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma

12. Trevone Boykin, QB, TCU

13. Paul Perkins, RB, UCLA

14. Corey Clement, RB, Wisconsin

15. Shock Linwood, RB, Baylor
