As a college football fan, I love traveling to different campuses and stadiums outside of the SEC. It’s fun to see the traditions of a different school and, most of the time, it can be a great experience.

I recently polled some Auburn fans on schools they would like to see Auburn football schedule a home-and-home series with, and then took their answers and formed my own list of the most popular. Basically, we are tired of playing Clemson and Wisconsin in what seems like every other year.

Just Missed the Cut

Baylor – How fun would it be to see Malzahn’s offense try to outscore Briles’? Baylor, as of now, doesn’t have that historic tradition that would put them into the top 10.

Georgia Tech – Old, classic rivalry that was brought back for two years in the early 2000’s. We won’t forget how horrible those two games went, plus, we are trying to get AWAY from Atlanta.

Hawaii – Okay, so this one might be popular due to the destination. Do we know if Gus can surf?

Ohio State – History. Winning tradition. The Best Damn Band in the Land. Misses the cut because, well, Urban Meyer wouldn’t agree to play Auburn football again, would he?

Stanford – The Cardinal received more votes than their Bay-area rival. Of course, there is always a possibility that some of the fans’ phones auto-corrected Samford to Stanford.

UCLA – Plays in the Rose Bowl. I do not like that place right now. Bad memories that are too fresh.

After breaking down those schools that just missed the cut, let’s look at the Top Ten schools that I would like to see Auburn football schedule a home-and-home series with.
