Former Auburn quarterback Cam Newton has his Carolina Panthers in the upcoming Super Bowl in Santa Clara, and is playing his best football since entering the NFL in 2011. The likely regular season MVP, Newton has been criticized, lauded, hated, and revered.

That’s nothing new for the Heisman Trophy winner and national champion, who ran through and passed over SEC defenses in his one year at Auburn with ease.
