Nate Craig-Myers – The Tigers and Tar Heels are officially the finalist to land the four-star wide receiver. He also has set his official announcement time for 10 a.m. Central on National Signing Day on ESPN.

Jayvaughn Myers – Myers also announced when he will make his decision. He will be committing to either Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Maryland or North Carolina at 12 p.m. Central on National Signing Day.

Derrick Brown – According to Barton Simmons at 247Sports, Auburn is now the leader for five-star defensive tackle Derrick Brown. He says even after his visit to Athens the Tigers are the perceived leader with Tennessee actually in second place right now. The bad news for Auburn fans is that Brown will visit Rocky Top this weekend as they’ll have the last opportunity to sway his decision. Still, this is great news considering the Bulldogs were the runaway favorite just a week ago.

Rashan Gary – The Tigers appear to be out of the race for the nation’s number one recruit, but the coaching staff will still take a trip to visit the five-star defensive lineman this week to give it one last shot.

Nigel Warrior – Nigel’s mother is trying to convince the four-star safety to narrow his list down from five to three teams this week. Right now he’s considering Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Tennessee and Georgia. Auburn just recently increased their pursuit of Warrior with an in-home visit that led to an official visit last weekend. He has strong ties with Kirby Smart at Georgia and his father played at Tennessee where he’ll visit this weekend. Warrior would be a huge get for this recruiting class, but it sounds like Auburn has a long way to go to sway him towards the Plains.

Landon Dickerson – Of the 12 expert predictors polled on 247Sports, only one predicted that the five-star offensive lineman would choose Auburn. Most have him going to Florida State. Tennessee is creeping up though and will have the last shot at him with a visit scheduled this weekend.

Ben Davis – Gus Malzahn and Kirby Smart spent an hour at Davis’ house Tuesday and the five-star linebacker said Auburn is definitely still in the mix. After losing Casanova McKinzy and Kris Frost the Tigers have a real need at linebacker, and Davis likes the idea of being able to come in and play as a freshman. Alabama and Georgia are still the favorites, but Auburn is gaining momentum heading into his official visit to the Plains this weekend. Davis will make his decision on National Signing Day at 9 a.m.

Daquan Newkirk – It’s kind of old news now that we haven’t mentioned before, but the three-star defensive end will spend a year at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College for academic reasons. He still remains committed to Auburn and plans to transfer to the Plains next summer.

Prince Sammons – Auburn has emerged as one of the favorites down the stretch to land the four-star defensive end from Cincinnati, Ohio. New offensive line coach Herb Hand has been helping in the recruiting process of Sammons and they may even be considering moving the 6-foot-8, 280 pound recruit to the offensive line. Duke, Michigan State and Oregon are also in the mix. Sammons is scheduled to visit the Plains this weekend as the Tiger’s coaching staff will have a chance to cash in late.

Daniel Thomas – Another recruit that Auburn is gaining ground on late is three-star safety Daniel Thomas. Thomas canceled his visit to Clemson this weekend to a take a trip to the Plains instead. He’s yet to be offered a scholarship by Auburn, but if he is extended one it’s expected he would commit to the Tigers. South Carolina is currently the favorite for Thomas.
