Awards: Auburn Basketball 2015-2016 Season Superlatives

March Madness is winding down, but unfortunately, Auburn’s basketball season ended quite a while ago. As more and more postseason awards are announced, I think it’s time to hand out my own awards for Auburn Basketball. 

With all the ups and downs of this season, I think it’s time to look back on the good things that did take place.

The season was mostly seen as a disappointment anyway you look at it, but Auburn saw some good games and a few players that had pretty good years, as well as players that showed great signs for the future.

For this season, I will be picking a Best Game, a Most Valuable Player, a Most Improved Player, a Best Newcomer, and as a bonus I’ll give the player I’m most looking forward to see next season.

Some of these awards were easy to assign, and others took a little bit of thought. Most people will probably agree with me on some of my picks, but I’m sure a lot will disagree with others.
