16. Spend too much money at J&M Bookstore/Alumni Hall/any other place where Auburn gear is sold

True story: I was back in Auburn in July and spent absolutely no money on new apparel for my wardrobe. That is the first time that has ever happened. Just like me, you probably have went into one of the many bookstores/fan stores in Auburn and walked out spending too much money. It is a must so everyone knows that you represent the greatest university in the world.

15. Root on softball at Jane B. Moore Field

Head coach Clint Myers came to Auburn to make the Tigers a winner, and he has done just that in a mere three years. Two trips to the College World Series, a national runner-up, and some of the best facilities you will see have all followed Myers’ arrival. Tip: get your picture with Helmet Guy!

14. Get to a tailgate spot early on Friday and set your stakes

Not only should it be a rite of passage, the chances you will meet great friends are high. The rule is that you can set up your stakes at 4 p.m. on the Friday before a game. Take that day off, arrive early to our desire spot, and sit there with other people close by while you exchange memories of the past. Sharing beers and food with other people are a plus!

13. Listen to Samford Hall bells at noon

It doesn’t make much to give me chills, but when I hear “War Eagle” being played by the bells at Samford Hall at noon, it does the job to the max.
