8. Tiger Walk

If you’ve been to an Auburn game and not attended Tiger Walk, I am not sure what to tell you. In what ESPN’s Ivan Maisel calls “the great walk in America,” the Tigers stroll down Donahue Drive as thousands of fans greet their heroes who are about to go battle. I’ve cried. I’ve yelled. I’ve cheered. This is a must for each Tiger fan.

7. Meet David Housel

If you can’t go to the Lovelace Hall of Honor, this is your next best option. The longtime athletic director of Auburn is a walking encyclopedia on everything Tigers-related, and doesn’t mind talking to everyone who wants to listen. He has been a great representative of our university for a long time.

6. Toomer’s Lemonade

Sorry, every other place that sells lemonade. You will never match up to the stuff that they sell on the corner of College and Magnolia. The best stuff to have on a hot day, Toomer’s lemonade has been a staple for Auburn people for a long time. I’m not sure what they put in it, but it is addicting. Oh, and I’m not above putting a little bourbon in it for some good times.

5. Attend Auburn away game

Want to see how the rest of the SEC does it? You should. Auburn has a representation for friendliness when it comes to hosting other fans on the Plains, so it should come as no surprise that most opposing fans (yes, even Alabama fans) treat us great as well when we are in their territory. Whether it is a trip to the bayou to eat some gumbo for a night game in Tiger Stadium at LSU or heading up to the Bluegrass State for some horse racing and matchup against Kentucky, you will find hospitality.
