Here we take a look at the matchups on offense and defense as Auburn football gets ready to take on Ole Miss in Oxford this Saturday.

Auburn football is riding high after a huge 56-3 win over Arkansas at home last weekend, and now they have another big test in Ole Miss.

It seems like we say this every week, but this is Auburn’s biggest game of the year. That’s just the way the schedule is in the SEC West.

Auburn is currently on a four-game winning streak, while Ole Miss has lost two in row.

Last weekend they got ran all over as LSU stomped them out 38-21. After the loss, Ole Miss put a self-imposed postseason ban on themselves for this season as they are currently under investigation by the NCAA.

You really have to wonder what the motivation for this team is right now. Even after their first two losses it looked like they were a top 15 team. But after losses to Arkansas and LSU they could very easily throw away the rest of the season.

That’s certainly what Auburn fans are hoping for as the Tigers travel to Oxford this weekend.

The Rebels certainly have the talent to play with anyone in the country, but so does Auburn.

This will just be Auburn’s second road game of the year, so again you have to wonder how this team will respond. They didn’t face much adversity on their first road trip of the season, hopefully they won’t this weekend either.

Let’s see how these two teams matchup.
