8. Kiehl Frazier (2011-13)

By the numbers: Kiehl Frazier completed 67-of-128 passes over his career for 787 yards, two touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also ran 128 times for 326 yards and three more scores.

FlyWarEagle analysis: Oh, Kiehl, you arrived in Auburn with such great expectations. The kid from Arkansas who Gus Malzahn hand-picked. But it just never clicked with Frazier. Maybe the high school competition didn’t prepare him for the next level because he simply looked overwhelmed. Then the offensive coordinator, Malzahn eased him into things by making him the Wildcat QB as a freshman and he ran it 76 times for 327 yards and three TDs. But the next season when he had the opportunity to be the guy, it fell apart.

He completed 11-of-27 passes in the season-opening loss to Clemson with minus-9 rushing yards and threw three interceptions the following week against Mississippi State as Auburn fell to 0-2 and went on to lose seven of its first eight games.
