7. Jonathan Wallace (2012-15)

By the numbers: Jonathan Wallace completed 49-of-85 passes for 761 yards, four TDs and four interceptions. He also ran for 152 yards.

FlyWarEagle analysis: Wallace is one of the great Auburn men to come through the program. No one expected him to play in 2012 as a freshman, but there he was starting the final four games of Gene Chizik’s tenure in an awful 3-9 season. He completed 46-of-80 passes for his four touchdowns and four picks during those four games. He led the Tigers to two of their wins (vs. New Mexico State and Alabama A&M) and lost to Georgia and Alabama. He threw just five more passes during his Auburn career and eventually moved to receiver. File this one under bad timing for Wallace to be an Auburn QB.

His best game came in relief of Frazier in Auburn’s disgusting 63-21 loss to Texas A&M. He completed 6-of-9 passes for 122 yards with a pair of 27-yard TD passes to C.J. Uzomah and Emory Blake. He also ran for 71 yards on 13 carries. Two weeks later he threw for a career-high 181 yards in a loss to Georgia.
