Auburn football will be showcased at SEC Media Days on Thursday, July 19, and we’ll find out soon which players the Tigers will be taking.

In a little more than one week, SEC Media Days will be here — in Atlanta at the College Football Hall of Fame after being in Birmingham for a long time — and that means one thing: Football is around the corner.

The SEC released the schedule Friday and Gus Malzahn and three players to be named will go in front of the media on the final day of the four-day event.

Getting selected as one of the players to represent your school at the event can be a pretty cool thing. One of the bonuses: the suits.

Kyle Tucker wrote about the fashion from last year’s SEC Media Days. This came from Kentucky SID Susan Lax:

"It’s a huge honor to be chosen to come here,” Lax said, “and now they know that once they’re invited to SEC Media Days they are going to get a new suit, which is very cool. We go with them and try them on and get them altered. They can pick out whatever they want — within a dollar limit — so they kind of get a taste of what it’s like when they’re in the NFL, if they get to do that, because you’re going to need tailored suits.“And they can use these for interviews and business things they’ll go to. It’s pretty cool. They’re kind of wide-eyed going into this every year, but once this day is over, they’re like, ‘Whew, that was fun."

Last year, Auburn brought all seniors in offensive lineman Braden Smith, kicker Daniel Carlson and safety Tray Matthews. Will the Tigers do the same? Here’s who we think have the best chance to get the invitation and fashion upgrade.

1. Jarrett Stidham. So the Auburn QB is only a junior but most projections have him as a potential first round NFL draft pick in 2019. He’s the face of the offense. He will have plenty to discuss, too. He just got engaged.

2. Deshaun Davis. The senior linebacker is not just the leader on defense, he’s one of Auburn’s leaders, period. He’s a great talker, too. He’s a no-brainer to bring to Atlanta.

3. Chandler Cox. The Auburn fullback doesn’t get many carries. He doesn’t get many headlines. But he does so much for the Auburn offense. Plus, he’s buddies with Stidham. He’s also more than a football player. He watches The Bachelor.

Those are our three picks for Atlanta, but there are several other players worthy of consideration.

Ryan Davis. The senior receiver set a school record with 84 receptions last season. He’ll be counted on to do that and more in 2018. Will Auburn bring multiple Davises to Atlanta?

Dontavius Russell. One of Auburn’s true grinders. A fifth-year senior who could have tested the NFL waters after last season but chose to return.
