QB Jarrett Stidham

Yes, there are other good quarterbacks in the SEC. Jake Fromm, Jake Bentley, Nick Fitzgerald, Tua Tagovailoa, Jalen Hurts, Jordan Ta’amu and Drew Lock. But none come into the 2018 season with the expectations that come with Stidham’s return to Auburn.

JARRETT STIDHAM: Auburn’s 10 most important offensive players

Auburn is expected to compete for an SEC West title and spot in the College Football Playoff. Stidham threw for 3,158 yards last season, 18 touchdowns and six interceptions. He should be healthier after offseason surgery on his non-throwing shoulder and should know Chip Lindsey’s offense better after learning it on the fly last season.
