WR Ryan Davis

All Ryan Davis did last season was catch a school-record 84 passes for 815 yards and five touchdowns. He became Stidham’s go-to guy when Auburn needed a catch. He caught short passes, intermediate ones and took some of those short ones a long way.

RYAN DAVIS: Auburn’s 10 most important players

Davis might not get a lot of love when the votes are cast because he does so much of the dirty work — and he does it very well. He’s not going over the top of defensive backs making highlight-reel catches. Instead, he’s catching everything that comes his way and turning those catches into tough yards, first downs and scores.

Expect him to take on a bigger role as Auburn awaits the return of Eli Stove and Will Hastings.
