DT Derrick Brown

Derrick Brown has NFL written all over him. It’s very likely that he’s off to the big league after this season. He’s a mismatch anywhere he lines up. At 6-5, 325 pounds, he can line up inside or outside. He’s too quick for interior linemen and trouble on the edge if he goes there.

The SEC is loaded with some excellent defensive linemen. That makes it tough to project where Brown will land on the preseason team. If it was first-team, that should come as no surprise. If it’s second or third, that shouldn’t be taken as disrespectful. Expect him to prove his value on the field all season.
