DL Marlon Davidson
Marlon Davidson looked destined for super stardom after he started all 13 games his freshman season in 2016. But he was slowed by some nagging injuries last season and while he was very good, he didn’t have the sort of impact on a consistent basis that he would have liked.
Look for him to wreak havoc at defensive end this season. He’s big for an end (6-3, 278) and come move inside when the defensive set calls for it. He increased his total tackles from 38 to 43 from Year 1 to last season.
It would be a surprise if he didn’t blow those numbers out of the water. Because of his perceived down year in 2017, he may not get the preseason notoriety he should get. He’ll just have to show any skeptics wrong when he takes the field.
