WR Darius Slayton

Darius Slayton became Auburn’s deep threat that it had been missing in the passing game last season. Slayton and QB Jarrett Stidham had a connection that worked over and over for the TIgers last season.

DARIUS SLAYTON: 10 most important Auburn offensive players

Slayton’s catch total wasn’t high — he caught 29 passes — but his yardage (643) was second only to Ryan Davis’ total. He averaged 22.2 yards per reception and hauled in five TD passes.

While many expect the Stidham-to-Davis combination to be one of the best in the SEC (and it probably will be), the Stidham-to-Slayton one will squarely be in the mix.
