The Gators have a built-in non-conference Power 5 opponent every season in rival FSU. But the Gators have been down in recent years and the Seminoles have won five in a row and seven of the last eight. Getting back on top of that series should be a priority for Dan Mullen, especially with Jimbo Fisher gone (and now at Texas A&M).
Future non-conference opponents
2018: Charleston Southern, Colorado State, Idaho, FSU
2019: Miami (Fla) (Orlando), UT-Martin, Towson, FSU
2020: Eastern Washington, South Alabama, FSU
2021: Samford, FSU
2022: USF, FSU
2023: at USF, FSU
2025: USF, FSU
