SEC football: Grading Auburn, rest of league’s non-conference scheduling

The Wildcats’ future non-conference opponents are mostly regional-type games and there’s nothing wrong with that. Kentucky has its built-in Power 5 game each season (through 2022 for now) with Louisville. The Cardinals have been hot and cold, but more hot against the Cats of late.

2019: Toledo, at Eastern Michigan, UT-Martin, Louisville

FlyWarEagle analysis: Not much to get excited about here outside of the Governor’s Cup meetings against Louisville — and that is something to get excited about, if you’re a Wildcat. But the Cardinals have won six of the last seven, including last season’s 44-17 rout that knotted the all-time series at 15 wins apiece. Grade: C
