We’re just about two weeks from the season opener against Washington and there’s no better time than now to look at the best-case scenarios for this Auburn football team.

We already know a few things:

  1. The offense is loaded with all sorts of talent at the skill positions.
  2. The defensive line should be one of the best in the nation.
  3. The 2018 Auburn recruiting class should have an impact early and often this season. There’s a lot of speed and talent on the offensive side of the ball and Gus Malzahn will do everything possible to incorporate it into Chip Lindsey’s offense.

But specifically, what do you picture when you daydream about how the 2018 season will play out for the Tigers? Do you see a balanced offensive attack or it leaning to the run or pass? Do you envision the defense really being better than it was a season ago when it was already very good? And when you think of the brutal schedule and head-to-head matchups, do you see Auburn winning all of the on-the-fence games, most of them or none?

Well, if things go just right, most, if not all of those games will be victories.

With that in mind, here are 10 best-case scenarios for the 2018 Auburn football team that if they come to fruition, it will be a season to remember on the Plains.
