Tennessee at Auburn

When: Oct. 13
Where: Jordan-Hare Stadium, Auburn
Time: TBD
TV: TBD

It feels like the Tigers and Vols haven’t played in a long time. And really, they haven’t.

The last time was 2013 when Auburn beat the Vols in Knoxville, 55-23. In fact, Auburn has won six in a row against Tennessee dating back to 2003 (that includes a 38-28 win in the 2004 SEC Championship Game).

Auburn is facing a Vols team with a new coach in Jeremy Pruitt. The picture of what the Tigers will be getting in the Vols should be much clearer after UT’s back-to-back games against Florida and Georgia before taking a bye week in front of the date with Auburn.

So there’s a chance that Pruitt throws something at Auburn that the Tigers wouldn’t have seen on film yet. If the Vols are anything like they were last season, it won’t matter what they throw at Auburn.

Prediction: Auburn 42, Tennessee 17 | Record: 7-0, 4-0
