It’s game week and the ninth-ranked Auburn football team plays No. 6 Washington on Saturday in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
In other words, the most wonderful time of the year is upon us.
No, it’s not Dec. 25. It’s football season! After all, unlike Christmas, we get at least 12 days of excitement, despite what that song says that no one with an actual life knows all the words to.
With football season here, we need people who we can relate to and laugh with as we go through the highs and the lows of football. Sure, family and friends are great and all but Twitter is a great way to connect with the Auburn family as a whole. With that said, here are some of the Auburn Twitter accounts that you should follow as an Auburn football fan, besides yours truly.

Any Tiger fan with a Twitter account should have followed this guy a long time ago. He’s practically a staple of the Auburn community in general. He’s one of the silliest accounts that we’ll have on the list and well worth the follow whenever you want to join him in getting overly excited or laughing through the pain.

The next person you absolutely need to follow is FlyWarEagle’s own Shea Brennamen. Without a doubt, she is the GIF master when it comes to Auburn sports, as well as being a hilarious account in general. Relatively new among Auburn fame, she’s already become one of the most well-known Auburn accounts. You also should read her articles here, too. They’re well worth your while.

If the name isn’t “Pearl’s Curls” then we should stop. https://t.co/gGCWFF2fwZ

He freaks out a lot. He swears a lot. He makes really dumb jokes sometimes. Barning Hard is that drunk uncle that you know you shouldn’t hang out with and encourage but once he gets going, it’s just hilarious to see where he’ll take it.
@WarBlogle
We live in a society that can’t pay attention longer than a few minutes, so I predicted each Auburn game from the 2018 season with one sentence each. 12-0, here I come. #wareagle

Did you know: AU DT Dontavius Russell was rated as the No. 1 defensive tackle coming out of the state of Georgia in the 2014 class. In fact, he was committed to Georgia for 8 months before going on an official visit to Auburn for the 2013 Iron Bowl when the #KickSix happened https://t.co/qTWAYX1Sqj
