Howell couldn’t of had the success he had last season without talented receivers to throw to. And bad news for Auburn fans: UNC returns nearly every major receiver from last year’s squad.

The Tarheels have a pair of 1,000-yard receivers in Dyami Brown (51 catches for 1,034 yards and 12 TDs) and Dazz Newsome (72 catches for 1,018 yards and 10 TDs.) For an Auburn team that lost Noah Igbinoghene, Javaris Davis, Jeremiah Dinson and Daniel Thomas from their secondary, the duo of Newsome and Brown could create havoc for an inexperienced Auburn defense.

The Tarheels also have 6-foot-4 wideout Beau Corrales who reeled in 40 passes for 575 yards and six touchdowns last year. Rising senior tight end Garrett Walton will likely be the team’s starter and the 6-foot-4, 245-pound TE recorded nine receptions for 76 yards and a TD in 2019.

Further down the depth chart, RS senior Rontavious Groves and junior Antoine Green bring some depth and experience to the Tarheels’ WR corps and are certainly players to watch.
