The Wide receiver position is a big wild card for the Rebels in 2020 outside of one man. Junior Elijah Moore was named to the Third-Team All-SEC by Athlon Sports after a campaign that saw him record 67 catches for 850 yards and six touchdowns.

The 5-foot-9 wideout should continue to be one of the conference’s best in 2020. However, after Moore, Ole Miss is full of unproven talent.

Braylon Sanders was second on the team in receiving last year with 192 yards and sophomore Jonathan Mingo chipped in 172 yards and a touchdown and Dannis Jackson was a highly-touted recruit in the class of 2019 but only managed seven receptions on the season.

If Ole Miss wants to improve their passing attack from last season, someone other than Moore is going to have to make an impact — something I’m not super confident will happen.

At tight end, last year’s starter, Octavious Cooley recorded 13 catches for 162 yards but he has now graduated. Luckily, Temple transfer Kenny Yeboah chose the Rebels over Baylor.

The 6-foot-5, 240-pound tight end was productive last season for the Owls recording 233 yards and five touchdowns. Don’t expect anything crazy out of the grad transfer but he does provide a nice vertical threat in the passing game.
