Yet another member of the Tigers’ memorable run to the Final Four in 2019, Dunbar was an important piece of the puzzle for Auburn, often coming off the bench as a scoring punch. The JUCO transfer played two seasons at Auburn and put up 6.6 points and 3.2 rebounds per game in 2018-19.
After going undrafted, Dunbar actually got a chance to play in the NBA Summer League with the Golden State Warriors. Unfortunately, the 6-foot-6 wing played in just two games where he averaged 5.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.
After his Summer League opportunity, Dunbar signed a pro contract with the Artland Dragons of the German ProA League.
According to proballers.com, Dunbar averaged 14.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in his first season in Germany.
Last one for tonight: @malik_ihoop scored or assisted on 8 of Artland’s last 10 points. Here’s Malik’s basket with about 90 seconds left that ended up being the winning basket in the Dragons 86-84 win. pic.twitter.com/wr7Q0rl2m2

However, the Dragons announced in February that they had released Dunbar for disciplinary reasons. Dunbar has not yet announced any other plans for his pro career.
